# Use LMA reports to decide the next action

A useful report starts with a question. Do you need to find leads awaiting follow-up, understand assignment, or review a lead source? Use the relevant LMA report link, or open System Reports. Search matches report names and descriptions. Here, searching Clients By Phase finds a report that counts clients in each phase. Read its description before using its totals. When available, expand About this report for the report's instructions and definitions.

Set the reporting scope before interpreting the result. On LMA Dashboard, this example uses September seventh for both dates, Agency two, and Demo Campaign one thousand four. Select Apply after changing the filters. The funnel shows one imported lead and no completed later stage. Read each card's description: different cards can measure different events. An imported date, assignment date and contact date answer different questions. The figures shown here are demonstration data, not an agency performance benchmark.

Now inspect a record behind the work. Open Not Qualified, enter Jordan's Client ID, and select Filter. The row shows No Attempt, a Next CallBack date of September eighth, and one Call Back. Those values are consistent: a callback has been created, but no qualifying contact task has been completed. Last Contact Attempt comes from completed contact-related tasks, not simply a note or a call log. Open the client or task to confirm the detail before deciding what to do next.

Use the finding to follow up or assign work through the normal process. A blank result calls for checking filters and permissions before concluding that no records exist. If you retain a report, keep its name, filters and run date with your conclusion. Check the scope before exporting, and include only the information needed. Keep this sequence in mind: choose a clear question, define the scope, inspect the records, and act on the evidence.
