# Review enrollment and hand off to DMA

A good enrollment handoff gives the receiving team a complete file and a clear next action. Start with the correct lead and review the enrollment work. Here, Jordan's Paperwork Complete task is still open. Its name describes work to finish; it does not prove that enrollment is complete. Read the saved documents, required signatures, counseling, creditor information, budget, and payment arrangements before approving the handoff.

Resolve missing information before activation. Jordan's budget is saved, but its disposable-income warnings still require review. The paperwork task is also unfinished. Assign the unresolved work to the right person with a due date, then verify the saved task. If an initial payment is required, use the approved payment workflow and confirm its actual state. A payment entry, a generated bank file, and settled funds are separate events.

Opening Edit Backend does not activate a lead. Jordan's backend header still says Lead and has no Company. Once the enrollment checks are satisfied, an authorized user changes Phase to Client and saves through the enrollment workflow. Correct any validation message, then reopen the record in DMA. Activation can apply Company assignments, create tasks, and run configured rules. Review those results before handing responsibility to the receiving team.

For the receiving review, we will use a different fictitious record: Casey Training, an existing Client in Company four. In Admin, confirm Client Assigned To, the Company, and the payment schedule. This example now has Demo User one hundred sixty two as its service owner, but the next payment date is blank. That still needs an approved schedule. Check creditor delivery details, proposal status, portal access, and service tasks separately. Activation does not complete those workflows for you.
