# Start service for a DMA client

Start service by confirming the record you are responsible for. Select DMA, choose the correct Company, and find the client. Casey Training is our fictitious existing Client in Company four. Open Admin and check Client Assigned To. This saved example is assigned to Demo User one hundred sixty two. Review the program dates and payment schedule as well. A Client phase label does not guarantee that every service detail is ready.

Use the client's Tasks tab to make service work explicit. Choose DMA Request from Select a Task to Create when that is the appropriate task. Set an owner and a due date, then describe the work needed. Our saved request asks for review of missing creditor delivery details on the account ending twelve thirty four. It is assigned to CMA Admin for September eighth at ten in the morning. Select Submit to save work that is still pending.

Reopen the saved request and verify its status, owner, date, and note. This request remains open because the delivery details have not yet been resolved. Read the creditor account before making changes and document the actual result. Also work My Messages and My Client Docs through their normal review process. When a task is finished, record the required outcome and use its completion action. Check any follow-up tasks or communications created by the configured workflow.

A client's lifecycle needs a separate review. Inactive is a temporary pause. Incomplete means the program ended without successful completion. Complete is for a successfully finished program. In Admin, terminal changes require Date Terminated. Staff must still verify balances, payments, notices, and documents; the phase change does not prove those checks passed. Account closure and portal grace periods depend on Company settings. For reactivation, review the current terms, dates, account status, portal access, and new tasks before resuming service.
